My business is not just a means of making money, it’s a mini-me. It's a reflection of who I am and what I stand for. After pouring my heart and soul into creating a successful venture that showcases my passion, drive, and vision, it's depressing to realise that no one cared.

We’ve all heard of the House of Gucci falling down due to infighting, Burger King being stuck in a takeover juggle for sheer profit, and Kodak losing its innovation edge. Have you ever wondered why? I did. Let me tell you, all of these happened because the founders weren't the daddies anymore. The love, vision, and purpose all ruptured along with the founders when they were rattled away from their company.

Every founder, at least once in their lives, would've wanted to shout 'These aren't the profits you're looking for' to the hollowed. When stripping a company, it's seen that employees work for a salary, partners work for profit, executives work for equity, investors work for shares, salespeople work for commissions, everyone has their reasons for doing things - some are logical, some are irrational, and some are just weird. But hey, everyone's got their own flavour of crazy, right? The only person that truly grinds for the business is the the Founder.

Founders are like mad scientists, but instead of chemicals, they've got passion bubbling out of their ears! They're constantly breaking the limits of what's possible, always asking "what if?" and "why not?". They're like those folks on cooking shows who are always trying to come up with a new twist on a classic dish - instead of adding more garlic to their sauce, they're reinventing entire industries! Being a founder can be a tough gig.

They might have to make some tough decisions, like deciding whether to mortgage their house or eat Maggie noodles for the next six months. But for these risk-taking, idea-driven, boundary-pushing visionaries, it's all worth it in the end. Let's raise a glass to all the founders out there - the dreamers, the doers, and the innovators who are making the world a more interesting, exciting, and sometimes downright weird place to live.

It was me who cared the most, who was the most invested, and who was the most committed to my business's success. The journey would've been easier if I had employed people with Ownership DNA. By aligning the values and priorities of everyone who runs the company, we can build a strong foundation for growth and profitability.
