The Playbook
Haaaaavvveee you met me?
Aside from the life-changing lessons provided by Ted Mosby in "How I Met Your Mother," it's Barney Stinson's "Playbook" that caught my attention. I'll skip past his womaniser behavior and focusing on the real pot of gold here.
Barney calls his methods of picking up girls "crafts" and provides detailed descriptions and methods on how he uses them. As a designer, businessman, and mentor, I see this as the legend-wait for it-dary guide for delegating tasks.
So here is what you can do. Write down every step, tip, and method you follow so that the person you delegate to can follow it easily. As someone who is always looking to delegate tasks, I'll start doing this. If you're in this position, start writing your own playbook.
I hope the world can learn a thing or two from it.
And here is a joke from ChatGPT to make things more awkward. Why did Barney always carry a ruler in his pocket? To measure his next conquest of course.
Disclaimer - Apart from the last “so called joke” the entire passage was written by a real human.
Wow wow wow
